Best Day Ever

Richard got a fire pit for Christmas, along with a chainsaw (because you can't have a fire pit without a chainsaw to cut wood with-so I was told). After a day of heavy rain we got to try it out. The kids loved it. We had hot dogs for dinner and roasted marshmallows for dessert. Dylan kept saying "This is the Best Day Ever."

I love Dylan's enthusiasm. How fun, reminds me of my childhood days - we had a firepit in the woods behind our yard. My fondest memories were summer night marshmallow roasts...and the singing that accompanied them...

I just wanted to send you a little message, telling you how excited I’m for you and your family. I hope that the birth of this sweet baby boy is as sacred and as wonderful as it could possibly be. May the heavens send lots of love and surround you with the gifts you so deserve. A birth mom once wrote: “If you stop and just listen and open your heart soon after the birth of a new baby, you can almost feel the sacred place they have been and feel the love of the other on the other side.” Rachel you are truly great and I just love you good luck and congratulations 5 days to go!!!! Love-Amy
