1 month

10 lbs. 12 oz.
23 1/4 inches long

He is awake more, sleeps more through the night, and smiles (especially at Daddy).
As I am finally bringing Jacob around with me-Dylan says to people around us "I have a baby. Do you want to see him? Do you want to hold him? His name is Jacob."

Our claim to fame

The hallways of our church today were crowded with young and old all trying to get autographs and pictures of a football star who decided to come to church today. Steve Young caused all this frenzy and I have to say that if I didn't have to conduct my meeting, I would have been in the crowd getting my picture (I even had my camera with me-never leave home without it).

Playing with Steve Young as he was standing right next to him, Richard asked Brendan if he had ever met a NFL football player. Brendan said no and Richard told him there was one behind him. Brendan looks around and says "where?" Steve says "you were probably expecting someone a lot bigger." Richard played around with him a bit more while Brendan got his chance to shake his hand and chat for a bit before the crowds came. Too bad I wasn't around for that picture opportunity.

Just hangin out

My cute nieces came to visit me from Seattle, and I couldn't resist taking some pictures.

We so enjoyed having my brother Amiel and his family visit for 10 days. It was fun to see his daughter Aubrey and Dylan play together. They are both two competitive four year olds who loved having their picture taken. Each said they could do things better or faster than the other, but we ended up using their competitiveness to our advantage when they had to go to bed or finish their food.
