The hallways of our church today were crowded with young and old all trying to get autographs and pictures of a football star who decided to come to church today.
Steve Young caused all this frenzy and I have to say that if I didn't have to conduct my meeting, I would have been in the crowd getting my picture (I even had my camera with me-never leave home without it).
Playing with Steve Young as he was standing right next to him, Richard asked Brendan if he had ever met a NFL football player. Brendan said no and Richard told him there was one behind him. Brendan looks around and says "where?" Steve says "you were probably expecting someone a lot bigger." Richard played around with him a bit more while Brendan got his chance to shake his hand and chat for a bit before the crowds came. Too bad I wasn't around for that picture opportunity.
